Collision-IQ LLC (“Collision IQ,” “we,” or “us”) provides vehicle valuation review and counteroffer preparation services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when we delete it.

When you contact us or request a review, we may collect your name, contact information, vehicle details, claim information, insurer valuation reports, photos, and other documents you choose to provide. These documents may contain personal information about you or other people. Please avoid sending Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, or unrelated sensitive information in unsecure text boxes.

We may also receive basic transaction details when you pay for a service. Our payment provider processes your payment card information; we do not need your full card number to prepare a valuation review.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to you, review your vehicle valuation, prepare your evidence packet, process payment, and address service or billing questions. We may use software and AI tools to help analyze documents and prepare your review.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your claim documents or photos for advertising or sell them to data brokers.

When we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate our website, collect submissions, process payments, store files, communicate with you, or prepare your review. They receive information as needed to provide those services.

We will share your evidence packet or claim information with an insurance carrier or another party on your behalf only if you instruct us to do so. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to address fraud, security issues, or a legal claim.

How long we keep information

We keep case materials only as long as needed to complete your review, respond to related questions, and handle any follow-up you request. After that, we delete the case materials from systems we control, unless we need to retain particular records for a legal, tax, payment, or dispute-related reason. Service providers may retain copies or backups under their own retention schedules.

You may contact us to ask about your information or request deletion. We will honor deletion requests where we can, subject to the limited reasons above.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you submit. No website, email, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
